System requirements
- Windows 2000 or greater (including XP and Vista).
- Pentium 500 or equivalent.
- 256Mb RAM.
- hard disk space: 300Mb or 1 Gb with videos.
- Jed is optimised for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher. It has also been tested with IE 5, Firefox, Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla 1.4 and higher.
- Windows media player 7 or greater is required for the optional videos.
Technical support
The Job Explorer Database is designed to run on computer networks, individual machines, and laptops. You can also use JED from the Internet without installing anything (Internet version does not include videos or localising).
JED has been designed for use on a variety of operating systems and network configurations, including Windows Active Directory, RM Connect, Windows XP, 2000 and Vista. Our careful design and thorough testing aims to provide you with easy and trouble-free installation and use.
