Configure Network Mode

Your product will not work on a network unless configured for network use.

The Network Mode choice is made at install time. If you did not choose the correct networking mode during the installation, you should reinstall the product, paying particular attention to the Network Mode dialog.

Advanced users can configure their installation for network operation retrospectively without reinstalling, in the following way:

  • Locate the file called ChasReg.exe. Typically this is located in the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Careersoft Shared\Chas
  • From the command line, call this with a -sys argument, i.e. like ChasReg -sys. This will configure Careersoft Networking Components on your system.

Once you have configured your installation for network access, you should be able to access the product over your network. If not, please re-run this troublshooter.
