How do I check that my client computers are updated with all that they need to view ani-MODS
Computers that will be using ani-MODS need to be updated for Flash, Shockwave Player, and have a particular video codec decompressor installed.
From the client computer, look at the ani-MODS home page (index.htm in the installed pages). Look at the bottom left of the main menu page, and click on the 'System Requirements' item (picture of a computer). This will bring up a page listing the status of the required components on that client machine.
If any of the required components are reported as missing or a version that is too early, please use the client components installer to update the client computer.
Using Adobe's pages to test for Shockwave and Flash versions
As well as using the diagnostic page build into ani-MODS (see above), you can also check which version of Shockwave Player and Flash Player you are running by using the Test Shockwave & Flash Players page on the Adobe website.
