Yellow bar at the top of ani-MODS pages warning about 'Active Content'

Issue

When trying to view ani-MODS pages, you get a yellow bar at the top of the page warning about 'Active Content'. You have to say yes to this to be able to use ani-MODS.

Explanation

ani-MODS installed locally to your computer runs in the 'Local Computer' security zone of the Windows operating system. From Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) onwards, Microsoft revised the security settings for the 'Local Computer' zone so that html content files on your computer are subject to more restrictions than files from the Internet. So files in the Local Computer zone now warn you when they include 'active content' (e.g. the videos and activities that are central to ani-MODS), even though no such warning is given for pages from the Internet.

Solution

Later versions of ani-MODS include the special Microsoft 'mark of the web' so that they are treated with the same security settings as web content. This means that no yellow bar appears.

Please update to the latest version of ani-MODS to fix the yellow bar problem.
